How to Transfer a call using a Yealink phone

OVERVIEW

This article will help you Transfer a call when using a Yealink phone. There are separate instructions for using a Desk Phone or Cordless Phone when transferring via Attended Transfer and Blind Transfer.

DESK PHONE: TRANSFER A CALL WITH ANNOUNCEMENT (ATTENDED TRANSFER)

1. During the call, press Transfer. The call will be put on hold and the caller will hear music until picked up.
2. You can transfer to an internal or external number:
   - To transfer to an internal number: press the key or name of the extension and wait for the call to be picked up by the recipient. On some phone models, you need to press the Back or Home button to see the list of internal extensions.
   - To transfer to an external number: dial the number on the keypad and wait for the call to be picked up by the recipient.
3. When the recipient answers the call, advise them of the call and once they are ready, press Transfer and hang up. The call will be transferred to the recipient.
4. If the recipient does not answer or is unable to take the call, press End Call, then press Resume and the held call will come back to you.

2. Press Transfer.
