How to create a Conference call

OVERVIEW

This article will help you create a Conference call. There are separate instructions for using a Yealink Desk Phone and the Linkus Desktop Client.

  1. Place a call to the first party.
  2. Select Conference (Conf) to place a new call. The active call is placed on hold.
  3. Dial the second party's number or select a user's extension using the soft keys on your phone.
  4. When the second party answers the call, select Conference (Conf) to add the second party to the conference. All parties are now in the conference.
  5. Repeat the above steps to add more parties to the conference.

INSTRUCTIONS WHEN USING THE LINKUS DESKTOP CLIENT
  1. Place a call to the first party.
  2. Select Add Participant. The active call is NOT placed on hold.
  3. Dial the second party's number or select a user's extension.
  4. When the second party answers the call, they will be added to the conference immediately. All parties are now in the conference.
  5. Repeat the above steps to add more parties to the conference.
